Words of guidance recited at the graveside.
يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ، اذْكُرْ مَا خَرَجْتَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا: شَهَادَةَ أَنْ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، وَأَنَّ الجَنَّةَ حَقٌّ، وَأَنَّ النَّارَ حَقٌّ، وَأَنَّ البَعْثَ حَقٌّ.
O servant of Allah, remember the testimony with which you departed from this world: that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; that Paradise is true, the Fire is true, and the Resurrection is true.
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ، وَعَافِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنْهُ، وَأَكْرِمْ نُزُلَهُ وَوَسِّعْ مُدْخَلَهُ، وَاغْسِلْهُ بِالْمَاءِ وَالثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ.
